Pawshome ("we", "our", "the app") helps people in Saudi Arabia report lost pets and find pets for adoption. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Pawshome you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, and your email address or phone number, used to create and secure your account.
• Content you post — pet details, descriptions, photos you upload, the city and location text you enter, and a contact phone number if you choose to add one.
• Messages — messages you send to other users about their posts.
• Approximate location — only when you tap "Near Me", we use your device location to sort nearby pets. We do not track your location in the background, and you can decline this permission.

How we use your information

• To operate the app: show posts, deliver messages, and let owners and finders connect.
• To secure your account and prevent abuse.
• To send you notifications about your posts and messages.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. Information you choose to include in a public post (such as a pet's photo, city, and any contact number you add) is visible to other Pawshome users. Messages are visible only to you and the person you are messaging. We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the app and store data on our behalf.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your posts, your messages, and your notifications from our systems.

Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, and access to your data requires a secure login. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your rights under Saudi law (PDPL)

Pawshome processes personal data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Under this law you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to request access to it or a copy of it, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to request deletion of your data (which you can do yourself at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account). We collect only the data needed to operate the app, and we do not use your data for purposes other than those described in this policy. Children

Pawshome is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
